LO4 (D2): Evaluating the flow

The final edit of the radio show WDQ flows significantly and professionally, we have done this through making sure that there are suitable background noises that help with the flow of the radio show from the adverts to the jingle to the presenters and their guests. The flow of this radio show can be seen as professional and suitable for its purpose, this show meets its purpose and its min topic for it expresses different subjects contains in the main topic. We have included interviews with professionals from the wildlife park to contain and inform the audience on the information they thought they would never want to know yet makes them appreciate the events more once they have more information on it. This radio show sounds like a real radio show for it contains a professional sounding advert and jingle that we have created for WDQ and the advert for the Jazz Cafe. LO4: Final edit

  This is the final edit of our radio show, it contains the jingle and the advert that we have created. This footage shows how have edited to original footage to create a interesting and professional radio show, we have done this through the different editing techniques we have used and all the audio effects and different sound effects we have added. This has made it easier with the flow of the radio show and made it so that the radio show sounds professional and suitable for its topic. 

LO4: Offline edit

  This is a offline edit of all the footage we have for the radio show, this shows the generic layout of the radio show and shows us how we will have the flow of the radio show. This is done to help test the layout of the radio show and to see how we will help with the flow of the radio show to make it have more of a professional feel towards it. This will also help with the editing process of the radio show because it will help us expand our ideas with the editing and see where certain audio effects would be added and where they would be suitable to be added.

Advert   These screenshots show how there is different layers to the advert audio and how I have created a multitrack to have all the different types of audio contained on the same page so then I can further edit them together. To improve the advert when creating it I have made sure to change the tempo of some of the audios so they do not over power the voiceover for the advert, I have made sure to smoothly fade the audios into the track to make sure that the advert is gradual and sounds professional.  This screenshot shows how I have exported the file to a WAV format which would further be exported to a mp4 file type so I could further put the audio onto my blog. This advert has had a voice change making it is that the original voice used for the advert is edited and improved to make it sound more joyful and appealing for a advert, this means that the advert sounds more appealing and have more of an effect towards the audience so they would be more persuaded to visit the cafe...

LO4: Rushes of audio

Advert raw vocals This audio footage is evidence of how we recored the radio show and how we have raw audio footage of what the original audio sounded like before any forms of editing was included. This raw footage shows how the voice had to be changed during the editing section to make it more appealing and appropriate for an advert.  Main radio show raw vocals   This footage is the raw footage before the editing of what the main radio shows audio sounds like without any firms of effects, this footage shows the bloopers and mistakes we made and how we had to re-film the content. We had to do this to make sure we change the way we had said it or to show how we had to change our way of wording the content or the way we said it. 

LO3: Rushes/practice

Advert   This is a basic practices for the advert which shows us debating and hanging the way that the voice sounds and the way the we need to make sure that we make the voice sun interesting and excited about the company.  Radio show This is a practice of the beginning of the radio show, we are using this as evidence of us practising the way we spoke on the radio show and trying to get our timing correct so that both presenters are further in sync. 

LO3: Legal and Ethical

  When creating our radio show I needed to make sure that I stuck to the different media regulation rules which is created by Ofcom. The content which we produced bad to have no swearing/ violent/ sexual references/ or promoting alcohol or drugs to minors, that could potentially offend anyone. Having stuck to the rules which was put in place by Ofcom it means that if we wanted the radio station to be broadcasted in the future then it would be accepted as it would not offend anyone. We also took into consideration about using our own original content in the show to avoid getting a copyright fee.   In our radio show we would need to make sure that we avoid plagiarisms and copyright. This is where you use someone else work but claim that it is your own original content or use some else's work without permission . This would be important to take into consideration when creating the radio show as if we were to upload sounds or clips from someone else...

LO3: Proposal Planning a radio extract

For this project we are going to create an audio product for a local Wildlife Park, which was launched on the 23rd of May . This will inform people on the latest events and to advertise various aspects and main events that are going to come up, throughout the show, whilst entertaining an audience. The genre of backing music playing will be classic pop, family friendly and upbeat, which is well known to my target audience. From producing this radio show it will enhance the success and provide the audience with more knowledge of the events meaning they will be more successful for it has been broadcasted locally and is being promoted. Also, I am hoping to make the radio show more entertaining than already existing shows that talk about related topics. By doing this more people are more likely to listen to it, which will then grow the audience, making the Wildlife Park more known over the U.K.    My target audience will be mainstreamers and explorers, aimed towards families, whi...
