LO4: Editing process

Advert

These screenshots show how there is different layers to the advert audio and how I have created a multitrack to have all the different types of audio contained on the same page so then I can further edit them together. To improve the advert when creating it I have made sure to change the tempo of some of the audios so they do not over power the voiceover for the advert, I have made sure to smoothly fade the audios into the track to make sure that the advert is gradual and sounds professional.

This screenshot shows how I have exported the file to a WAV format which would further be exported to a mp4 file type so I could further put the audio onto my blog. This advert has had a voice change making it is that the original voice used for the advert is edited and improved to make it sound more joyful and appealing for a advert, this means that the advert sounds more appealing and have more of an effect towards the audience so they would be more persuaded to visit the cafe.

Radio

The following screenshots show how I have edited the final radio show with the jingle and the advert contained in it. Throughout the editing process I have made sure to edit and cut out certain sections of the audio that we did not need to use or was bloopers that we had made during the recording process. From all the audio being in one multitrack platform it allowed me to edit the footage easier and more efficiently because it was easier to access and to remove any unneeded parts. From this I further imported the audio into the multitrack to make it easier for me to put the audios in order from start to finish. There was further the advert and the jingle added into the ordered audio, there is further background music added to help with the flow of the radio show and to make it more interesting. With the advert and the jingle I have ensured to make surer that I have faded the audios in and out to help with the flow of the show.

Jingle

To ensure that the jingle has different sound effects I have imported all the audio which I knew I was going to use and created a new multitrack named 'jingle.' From this I further ensured that I had the audio in the correct order making it easier for me to edit it and to create the final jingle. I further layered some of the sounds to create a more in-depth jingle that sounds professional and effective, this will allow the audios that are layered to be played at the same time. During the creation of the jingle I stablished that there would have to be distinct features that would make this jingle stand out such as the loud roar that has been added for it relates to the main topic of the radio show. I further added a beat in the background that is suitable for our target audience and makes the jingle catchy and appealing for the audience, this is further followed by the voice audio informing the audience on what they are listening to and will encounter within the next few seconds. The voice that was used for the audio has further been edited and changed so that it has more of a radio feel towards it and makes it more suitable for the topic and platform. This is all shown within the screenshots shown below with the different layers I used and how the layers have individually been changed.
