On the BBC1 radio the content contained on it starts at 6:00am where the presenters Louise Michin, Naha Munchetty, Charlie Stayt and Dan Walker would introduce the station. The introduction that the radio show uses is highly known by the audience and is a familiar sound for them to know that what they are listening to is the BBC Radio show. These presenters are chosen to be the main presenters because they are all known by the audience for different things. Louise Michin is a well known person, she’s admired by people and she is also a attractive person meaning people would enjoy to watch and listen to her, Naga Munchetty is also a attractive lady that would attract an audience, she’s a different ethnicity to show how the station is friendly to all people and she is also a known lady by many. Dan Walker is a English journalist, newsreader as well as a television presenter meaning he also has gained a fan following that would attract people to the station, Charlie Stayt is rated on the best recognised faces in British tv meaning he would be by may people and would attract people from him being familiar to them. These presenters where chosen for a purpose of bringing more attraction to the station and to increase the success of the station.
During the station there are interviews that occur around 8:30am to 9:15am where the presenters would get people to come in and talk about a certain subject and gather their opinions and intelligence on the subject for the audience to further learn from. Throughout the station there is also updates on any businesses, from this information being broadcasted it means that the station is educating and informing the audience on the events occurring and what is happening with businesses and how it could possibly affect the audience. On the station there is also updates with the weather that is broadcasted throughout the UK this is done to inform the audience on the basic knowledge and information that they need for their day to fay lives.
The production techniques used in the radio station are used to create effect on the station through using jingles that people familiarise themselves with, presenters that people know, through doing mass production and batch production and by playing popular song playlists. However, this radio station is a formal radio station for its purpose is to inform the audience on events occurring meaning the station needs to be formal so that the audience feels they can trust and believe the stations information.
The regulation features for this radio station is that the station abide by the Ofcom standards and laws the Breakfast station is investigated and checked to make sure that all the content is appropriate for the audience that the station is aimed at. This is done to ensure that the content is suitable and appropriately protects the audience from any inappropriate or harmful information or content that could cause any for of moral panic.
